Our Prices & What to Expect

Before welcoming a new pet, it’s worth thinking ahead about how you’ll manage the costs that come with your new family member. By planning early, you can focus on enjoying the fun and companionship pets bring — knowing you’re prepared for the practical side too.

To help you budget, we’ve listed prices for some of our most common services below. Please note that costs can vary depending on factors such as your pet’s species, breed, size, and age, as well as any underlying health conditions.

Pet insurance can really help protect you against unexpected veterinary costs, and we do recommend it. You’ll usually pay a monthly premium, and an excess if you make a claim, but it can make all the difference if your pet ever needs urgent or complex treatment. Our team is always happy to offer general advice on choosing the right cover for you.

In addition to pet insurance, our Real Pets Health Club is a simple, affordable way to spread the cost of routine, preventative care — the vital things like vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and regular health checks that insurance doesn’t usually cover.

We offer two levels of care depending on your budget, including our brand-new Freedom plan. Freedom members enjoy:

  • Unlimited vet and nurse consultations — giving you complete peace of mind that you can pop in and see our team whenever you are concerned, without worrying about individual consultation fees.

  • Essential preventative care — including your pet’s annual booster, regular health checks, and your chosen year-round flea, tick, and worming treatments delivered direct to your door.

(Looking for the basics? We also offer a Care plan which covers your preventative essentials only, without the unlimited consultations).

It’s the ultimate way to stay on top of your pet’s wellbeing, giving you total freedom of care while saving you money across the year.

When You Visit Us

When you bring your pet to Beechwood and Low Waters Veterinary Centres, you’re placing them in the care of a highly trained, dedicated team who genuinely love what they do. Our practice is fully accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), which means we meet strict, independently assessed standards for our facilities, staff training, and quality of care.

From the moment you call our friendly reception team to book an appointment, you can expect professionalism, compassion, and clear communication at every stage.

During your consultation, one of our vets or nurses will take the time to discuss your concerns, review your pet’s history, and carry out a thorough physical examination. We’ll explain our findings clearly, discuss options, and costs before any further tests or treatments go ahead.

We encourage you to talk openly about your budget — we understand that every situation is different, and we’ll always do our best to find a solution that balances your pet’s welfare with your circumstances.

Veterinary medicine can sometimes be unpredictable, but whatever your pet needs, we’ll guide you through every step, keep you updated, and make sure you always understand both the care plan and the costs involved.
