Escape-proof setup (secure doors, hutches, windows)
Covered den, tunnel, or hide box
Comfort Items
Extra bedding or hay for burrowing
Familiar toys and used bedding for scent
Cardboard boxes with two exits (rabbits & guinea pigs)
Reducing Noise & Light
Close curtains/blinds
Low-level TV or radio for background noise
Move hutches indoors or cover outdoor enclosures with heavy blankets (ventilated)

Scatter feeding or chew toys for distraction
